Though Lee had control over the final hour or two, Deric would not go away easily, fighting every step of the way. On the final hand (not pictured here), Lee forced Deric all-in with a lesser hand. Lee's 10-7 flopped second pair while Deric had top pair. The river was a ten, giving Lee two pair and the victory. It was a hard fought and exciting heads-up battle between these two.
A nice parting gift for our first elimination of the night, Jarrod takes home a book written by one of the best in the business to study for next season.
